«Attenborough in Paradise»
All these wildlife DVD's narrated by David Attenborough are wonderful, except for some which show the cruelties of the wild, the strongest live, and the weak do not. But this one is all about birds so the kids can safely watch this one. It's really enjoyable!!!!

«Somewhat Boring, Less Nature More Personal Bio»
If you want to hear more about Attenborough's personal interests than a serious nature doco then get this, otherwise stick with the "Life X" series and the Planet Earth and my personal favorite Blue Planet programs. Trials of Life, Living Planet, Earth:a biography, BBC Wildlife specials, BBC Wild Africa are also great for the avid collector.
I thought it a little galling that he buys a statue from Sotheby's at a relatively low price and proceeds to use his program to try to prove it's really an ancient statue of the Easter Island natives God, thus making the price of his personal property go up in the process.
I wasn't interested in most of the other programs since they focus more on Attenborough himself than Nature. This guy is a TV guy with a passion for nature and one of the most iconic commentators around like Howard Cosell, Murray Walker, John Madden and others, but his primary talent is all I'm interested in: otherwise I'll go to Wikipedia or buy a biography.

«Another Piece of Attenborough Magic»
If you have seen Attenborough's classic, "The Private Life of Plants," (not yet available on DVD for our region!) you will surely enjoy this--another example of cinematic mastery in filming wildlife. Very appropriate and much enjoyed by elementary school students with delays in reading and language. The visual simply captivates them!
