«Don't buy it here»

I have never received a single issue of this magazine even after having called several times since I ordered it EIGHT MONTHS ago. The representatives on the phone assure you that it is coming but they have never followed through. While this is an amazing magazine, I would encourage readers to purchase the subscription elsewhere.

«Fit Yoga Magazine»

Although the name of the magazine is kind of cheesy, this is my favorite Yoga magazine. It's not a very thick publication, but it's not crammed with ads, either. Even though its title implies otherwise, there are usually as many articles on meditation, philosopny and ethical living as there are on physical postures. A must-read for any serious Yoga student.

«Quality and content could be better»

I was very happy to see a new yoga magazine come along. Yoga Magazines do seem to come and go except for Yoga Journal which is now an old timer. Still good, but predictable.
The problem with all yoga magazines now is that they don't know what they want to be. This one had a great idea in combining fitness with yoga but then they never seemed to get to the "fitness" part. There is virtually no fitness! It is all yoga as far as I can see. Sort of a watered down version of Yoga Journal.

All these yoga magazines seem to try to be like women's magazines - but not. Or like beauty magazines - but not. They seem to make a pretense of not buying into the whole womens magazine sensibility but they keep edging inexorably to exactly that.
One more thing: The paper quality, photography, and printing is pretty low quality.
I wanted to give this 3 1/2 stars. I am still hoping it improves.
